Five years ago, Upcountry Fiber was founded with a simple mission: to bring fast, reliable internet to communities across the Upstate while providing the kind of local service our customers deserve.  

As we marked this five-year milestone, we wanted to do more than recognize the occasion. We wanted to celebrate the customers, neighbors, and communities who have been part of our journey.  

On June 1, nearly 300 people joined us for our anniversary celebration. Guests enjoyed delicious barbecue from Choc’s BBQ, cooled off with sweet treats from Pink Mama’s Ice Cream, picked up Upcountry Fiber swag, and spent time with our team. More importantly, they gave us the opportunity to connect, share stories, and reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together over the past five years.  

Since day one, our focus has been about more than providing internet service. It has been about building relationships, supporting the communities we serve, and making sure our customers know they have a local team they can count on. Every new home connected,  every conversation, and every community event has helped shape who we are today.  

The best part of the day was seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. Every conversation reinforced what has always mattered most to us: serving our neighbors with care, reliability, and a genuine commitment to helping our communities thrive.  

As we look ahead, we are excited to continue investing in the Upstate, expanding opportunities for more families and businesses, and strengthening the relationships that have been at the heart of Upcountry Fiber since the very beginning.
