Dancing Into the Holidays with the Westminster Senior Center

For Upcountry Fiber employees, the communities we serve aren’t just where we work – they’re where we live, raise families, and build lasting connections. That sense of community was on full display on December 11, when a group brought their clogging crew to the Westminster Senior Center to share a special Christmas performance.
As the music began and the dancers took the floor, the room quickly filled with smiles, clapping, and holiday cheer. For the group, the performance was about more than dancing – it was about creating meaningful connections.
“It was important for me to perform for the Westminster Senior Center to build a deeper sense of connection in the communities we serve,” said Amanda Clark, account services representative team lead. “Music and dancing bring joy and laughter, and it was wonderful to see everyone singing along, tapping their feet, and smiling.”
For Kerri Hall, customer service manager, the visit carried personal significance. Westminster has long been part of her family’s story, making the experience especially meaningful.
“Westminster holds a special place in my heart,” Kerri said. “I was able to meet residents who remembered my husband and his family from their time in the community. It was special to relive those memories and share stories with them.”
What began as a shared hobby among coworkers has grown into a powerful way to give back. By combining music, movement, and a little holiday spirit, the team was able to create a moment of joy that resonated with both residents and performers alike.
“This community has helped shape us and allowed us to thrive together,” said Max Crawford, Upcountry Fiber area district manager. “Our customers give us a true sense of belonging, and whenever we have the opportunity to give back, we want to take it.”
At Upcountry Fiber, community isn’t just something we talk about; it’s something we actively take part in. Whether it’s sharing local traditions or simply showing up, employees are committed to investing time and care into the places they call home.
This holiday season, Upcountry Fiber is grateful for opportunities like this to connect, give back, and celebrate the people who make our communities what they are.
